Dear Jarrod,

I know, I know...It's been since April since you've 
heard from me.  But, as you know, I compose 
and send this newsletter myself to over 500 of 
our patients and, between my family and this growing 
practice, I stay pretty darn busy.  Anyway, read on 
for an idea that Gretchen, our marketing and 
scheduling coordinator, just came up with!

Word-of-Mouth Monthly Drawing

Dr. Angie and I have always understood the 
importance of word-of-mouth as it pertains to 
growing our practice -- and that is primarily how it 
has grown!  In the past, we have sent "thank you for 
your referral" cards (which we will probably still do) 
and other nice things to patients who have been so 
kind to refer their freinds, family, and co-workers to 
Long Family Eye Care.

Well, now we would like to try something new.  Any 
of you that refer a patient will have your name 
entered into a monthly drawing to win things like gift 
certificates, movie tickets, savings within our office, 
etc.  So, be sure to tell those people that you 
recommend to visit us for their eye care to write 
your name down when they sign in.

Look for more details in our upcoming Fall newsletter 
that I'll send out in October.  Also, you don't have to 
get pushy about reminding people to write your name 
down because we have a place on our intake form for 
them to write it, and we ask who sent them if it's left 
blank anyway.
