I think it's appropriate that CHANGE should be the theme of this quarter's newsletter. Long Family Eye Care has undergone many changes this year--for the better, of course. New Location! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ While we liked being in Landmark for our first 5 years, we ran out of office space and parking space as our practice has grown. We are now located at 660 S. College Avenue in South College Place. This is the building formerly occupied by SIRA radiology. It is the second building south of 1st Street on the right side of College Avenue. We now have some elbow room AND plenty of room to grow--and maneuver in and out of the parking lot! Also, our office is now 100% wheelchair accessible. We went from 1500 sq.ft. to 4000 sq.ft. and have added a contact lens room, two extra exam lanes, a file room, an adjustment and dispensing lab, an ancillary testing room, a staff lounge, a larger reception area, a larger frame room, and the Vision Aid Center. New Team Member ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Everyone knows how important that first contact with an office is. Whether it's on the phone or at the reception desk, Yasemin Keen is now serving us and our patients well in this capacity. Yasemin has been a fast learner and has been willing to go the extra mile to please you, the patient. Also, she has become the best person to ask if are trying to find our new office! Please give Yasemin a call today if you have any questions about glasses, contacts, laser vision correction, or your insurance. This is a new retail concept for south- central Indiana. Sample Vision Aid Center Products ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We carry, or have access to, all types of magnifiers and magnifying devices. Such as, lighted magnifiers, stand magnifiers, computer/TV screen magnifiers, spectacle-mounted loupes, diabetic syringe magnifiers, and more. In addition, we have non-optical items, such as lamps, lights, large print materials, filters, talking watches, computer enlargement software, etc. Please feel free to browse in the Vision Aid Center the next time you are in the office.
